Beginning with a short composition designed to concisely frame an improvisation of a limited length, with a repeating motif closing off each section. The composition leads into a free improvisation by the group. The piece is named after Nicole Mitchell, Composer and flautist; Adam saw her perform in New York last summer with her group Black Earth Strings and shortly realized a bit of the true potential of the chamber improv. This is a vague attempt at an homage.
